Yesterday, we were driving through my parents' town and I commented to my mother that I didn't realize that they had a strip club in town, and that I thought, based on the advertising, that it must be a very poor example of the genre.

She had no idea what I was talking about, insisting that there were no such establishments in their rural western NC town.

So I pointed to the sign in front of a local shop: "Ladies Skirts and Blouses Half Off".
